Playout & Delivery
Unattended channel playout with signal-chain confidence.
7×24 channel-in-a-box playout with gateway conversion and hybrid monitoring across the delivery chain.

Overview
The Playout & Delivery solution keeps channels on air without an operator in the room: Fair Series all-in-one playout running 7×24 unattended, Mediavate gateways conditioning signals on the way out, and the MVG-2206 keeping the whole delivery chain visible.
Challenge
Playout is judged on one number — uptime — but delivers it with shrinking teams. Files arrive unverified, graphics change daily, storage must resist tampering, and the failover had better be automatic, because nobody is watching at 3 a.m.
Always-on operation
Channels run 7×24; the playout system must self-diagnose and switch to backup without human hands.
Inbound file risk
Material from many producers reaches the playlist — one corrupt file is black frames on air.
Daily graphics churn
Logos, tickers, clocks, and crawlers change constantly and traditionally need CG hardware and staff.
Chain visibility
Server status, main/backup links, and output signals need one wall the operator can trust at a glance.
Solution
Fair Series carries the channel; the gateways and the multiviewer keep the chain around it clean and visible.
- Playout in one device — TR 101 290 three-level inspection enforces inspect-first-ingest-later; scheduling runs sequential, timed, inserted, looped, and triggered playback; the built-in graphics engine overlays logos, crawlers, clocks, and tickers with real-time subtitle edits; and the built-in audio engine levels mismatched sources automatically.
- Resilience — Ingested content is stored under proprietary encryption, fault self-diagnosis triggers automatic emergency switchover, and main/backup models pair two nodes for redundancy.
- Signal conditioning — Mediavate gateways convert and frame-sync signals across IP and SDI boundaries on the way out.
- Chain visibility — The MVG-2206 puts the whole chain — inputs, outputs, main and backup — on one wall, with exception alarms for loss, black, freeze, and silence.

Result
Channels stay on air unattended with the chain visible end to end — inspected content, automatic graphics and audio, encrypted storage, and failover that fires before anyone picks up a phone.
