Under the theme “Agentic. Connected. Live.”, SOBEY showcased products and technologies for intelligent media production, connected collaboration and professional UHD production.
Over four days, SOBEY welcomed broadcasters, production teams, systems integrators and industry partners from around the world. Product demonstrations and technical discussions focused on practical needs, from integrating equipment into existing systems to enabling remote collaboration, supporting reliable 4K production and applying AI in media workflows.
Connected | Flexible Tools for Connected Production
SOBEY presented MetaDeck and MetaLink for professional recording and playback, media processing and remote collaboration.
MetaDeck combines recording, playback, monitoring and media processing in a compact device for studios, outside broadcast vehicles and on-location production. Visitors discussed device configuration, interface capabilities and compatibility with existing workflows. MetaDeck also appeared in a product showcase at the Reuters stand, highlighting further possibilities for its use in professional production environments.
MetaLink provides professional remote audio and video connectivity for remote production, editing and collaboration across locations. Discussions explored transmission under different network conditions, system integration and deployment requirements.
Live | Reliable, Efficient 4K Production
For 4K live production, SOBEY showcased the ReMox slow-motion replay system, FusMix integrated switcher, and professional audiovisual cards for ingest and signal processing. The products cover key functions including replay, switching, ingest, monitoring and IP-based signal processing.
Hands-on demonstrations prompted discussions about product operation, control panel feel and specific functions, with visitors exploring how the tools could support their production needs.
Agentic | Bringing AI into Media Workflows
APE Agent, SOBEY’s agentic AI media production platform, and MetaBox One demonstrated AI applications in content processing, intelligent editing and workflow collaboration.
The focus was on integrating intelligent capabilities with existing workflows, professional tools and production systems while maintaining control over professional production.
The exhibition provided an opportunity to better understand requirements across different markets and explore potential industry collaboration. Following IBC2026, SOBEY will continue discussions with customers and partners on the product needs, technical questions and collaboration opportunities raised at the show.
